Accordingly, you acknowledge the following: You must be legally authorized to participate in the Project without restriction. You have not been convicted of a felony in the previous 10 years (unless expunged). You must be 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your state of primary residence) or older; or if below such age, your parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) must apply and agree to, and sign on your behalf, all documents related to your potential participation in the Project. You must remain legally present in the United States during your participation in the Project. You, any of your immediate family members, and anyone living in your household, are not currently, and have not been with within the past one (1) year, an employee, officer or director of Marcus Entertainment, LLC, or any entity owned, controlled or affiliated with ME, or any direct and/or indirect parents, subsidiaries, affiliated or related entities of: (a) any person or entity directly involved in the development, production, distribution or other exploitation of the Project; or (b) any person or entity supplying services to the Project. You may not be a candidate for public office, and agree to refrain from becoming a candidate for public office as of the effective date of the submission herein until at least one (1) year from the premiere of the final episode of the season in which you or the featured business appear. You must voluntarily submit to a background check. In addition to the above, you acknowledge and agree that: ME has the sole discretion to render ineligible any person who, in ME’s sole discretion, is acquainted with any person or entity connected with the development, production, or exhibition of the Project where participation could create the appearance of impropriety. ME has the sole discretion to make determinations of eligibility, and that ME reserves the right to change any eligibility requirement at any time.
